Mountain Glory – a class of its own

Introduction
Zhi Huo Culture & Sport Technology (Hainan) Company (ZHSCT) has awarded psc development gmbh the exclusive contract to source brands and products for an innovative and new shopping mall project. The contract also includes negotiating both purchase pricing and contract terms. Our partner plans to open a 4’000 sqm shopping mall in autumn 2022, with psc development gmbh responsible for 2’000 sqm.
Shoppers are our Guests and therefore demand a unique shopping experience, a truly different concept. In order to fulfil these desires, we will include among the well-known brands, access to the many exclusive smaller brands who do not have the marketing power to reach their potential customers worldwide. psc development gmbh intends to fil all needs.

Based on the Hainan Free Trade Port and under the direction of Hainan Province Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, ZHCST Company is a socialized sporting goods company committed to promoting the development of the bergoning sports industry in China. To lay the groundwork for long-term growth in Hainan, the Company has been involved in Sport Import Expo, Sport Duty-Free Town, Sport Industrial Park, Sport Town, and a variety of sport contests in Hainan. Our team

All members of the pscd team are united by one vision: They want to contribute to the success of visionary concepts and are willing to invest their rich know-how, experience, and enthusiasm in every project.
The team combines over 100 years of experience in the Duty-Free business. They cover the brand side with purchasing and product range design as well as the operational side with the definition of clear growth strategies.
pscd also works with a broad network of specialists in areas such as brand management, design, financial advisory, communications, and writing.

René Dafflon

René Dafflon

René started his career in finance. Soon he was hired by Crossair to build up a Catering and Duty-Free unit. His next station was Swissair, where he took over the Duty-Free Business of the airline, consisting of a store in Zurich and Geneva and defined a growth strategy. In his further business life, he restructured a production and distribution company and built up a Duty-Free distribution organization for a liquor group. René spent his whole career in a multi-cultural environment with stays in England, the US and Australia.

Now, in the fall of his career, René has added to the diplomas he has earned over the years one in executive and business coaching and is making his experience available to managers and young professionals.

Achievements
René built up, from a start-up level, Nuance, Swissair’s Trading Company, to the global Leader in Duty Free. In acquiring companies in Australia, New Zealand, Holland, France, England, Canada etc. and by winning tenders, e.g. Hong Kong with an initial volume of USD 600 million. René has extensive experience as a board member in JV in Hong Kong, Turkey, Portugal, US, Canada, and Cayman Island.

Michel Mignot

Michel looks back on a career of over 40 years as Executive of Dior and CEO of Chanel (P/C) with a focus on duty free and building local markets. Since his retirement, he makes his network available and commits himself to promising projects.

Achievements
When Michel joined CHANEL from DIOR in early 1990, the CHANEL brand needed to strengthen its network and improve sales in both the Domestic and Travel Retail Markets. Ten years after CHANEL were N°1 in European Duty-Free sales and in the top 3 on all European domestic markets, either through subsidiary companies or local distributors. In Duty-Free a worldwide Marketing coordination has been set up and CHANEL become N°1 in Duty-Free all over the world. Before he retired as CEO, Michel positioned CHANEL N°1 in Middle East, Africa and all over Europe (Western, Central and Eastern) while he coordinated the Worldwide Marketing policy in Travel Retail.

Lorance Dutreux Filler

Lorance Dutreux Filler

Lorance launched Benetton in the Caribbean, Central and South America. At a time when the brand did not yet have its full market power. she had then built up business as a licensee of Gooci in Australia.

For Nuance, she was responsible for guiding the young JV from launch to the successful opening of 22 duty-free stores at Hong Kong airport. She was also responsible for the restructuring of the Duty-Free cruise business based in Fort Lauderdale.

Achievements
Building up sustainable distribution organization, acquisition of customers for both, Benetton and Coogi.

For Nuance, introduction of novel store concepts for that time, welding together a multicultural team. Compilation of a revolutionary assortment and punctual opening of the store at the inauguration of the Hong Kong airport. Clearing out the rather dusty Cruise Ship store and introducing a new, customer-oriented philosophy with a corresponding assortment and personal attitude of the staff.

Michael Egloff

Before answering the call of branding and corporate communications Michael worked as a university lecturer and assistant in Chinese Studies at the university of Zurich. After completing his PhD in Ancient Chinese Grammar he began his training on the job in the leading Swiss Corporate Identity company Zintzmeyer & Lux (today: Interbrand), working for the transformation of companies like Deutsche Telekom and BMW. In 2001 he founded his own corporate identity company, Musqueteers®, transferring his experience with big companies to the benefit of small and medium enterprises.

Achievements
After 30 years of creative service as a Corporate Identity specialist and communicator, Michael would sum up his lasting commitment as follows: I contributed to the success of my clients by creating beauty through language, design and the awareness of responsible behavior.
